Canadian “Remembrance Day”  will soon arrive on November 11 ,2009.   While it is true that overall this day of remembrance is taken in a somber note in the western Canadian Provinces than in Eastern Canada one must always remember that Remembrance Day links us to the thousands and thousands of member Canadians who lost their lives fighting for our rights and freedoms.

Today Remembrance Day directs out attentions to the goals of general world peace and security something Canadians as a whole take rather for granted.  This should not be so.  We aught to take both our freedoms that we enjoy as well as the sacrifices made in our names and concerns most seriously and with the greatest honour and reverence.
